TONIA JENKINS.
Tonia Jenkins is a successful woman of Detroit. She was born and raised on the west side of Detroit, she is the eldest of two children. She is also a proud alumni of Detroit Public Schools (Henry Ford High School). She serves as a Sunday School Teacher at Corinthian Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Wayne B. Little of Hamtramck, Michigan. Her favorite scripture is Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths”.
Tonia graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electronic Engineering Technology from Madonna University. She continued her education at Eastern Michigan University, completing her Masters in Technology Education. She has been working as a Project Leader in the corporate world for more than 20 years. Additionally, she has worked as Adjunct Faculty member for over 20 years.
Tonia is a Proud Diamond Life member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. Her awards include Zeta of the Year 2006 (ZNZ), Zeta of the Year 2010 (RDZ), President of the Year 2010, Strong Women Lead recipient 2019, Presidents Volunteer Award 2019 and 2020.
She loves serving her community. She also serves as a Board Member of Inkster Preparatory Academy. She is a Life Member of the National Council of Negro Women and a member of NAACP.
